Since the establishment of Alfabus Europe in Modena, Italy, in 2017, this Chinese bus manufacturer has been seeking to raise its profile in Europe. To this end, two new buses, the ECity L06 and the E-Intercity L13, will be on display for the first time at Busworld.
With a length of 6.4 metres and a width of 2.1 metres, the ECity L06 can transport up to 36 passengers. This mini city bus is also equipped with a CATL BC5 battery pack with a capacity of 176 kWh, enabling a driving range of up to 320 km at a constant speed, with a maximum of 70 km/h. The minibus was specifically developed for public transport in historic cities with narrow streets.
At the stand, you will also find the ECITY L12 standard bus, which can carry up to 85 passengers. The maximum speed is also limited to 70 km/h.
The new, electrically powered E-Intercity L13 is equipped with batteries with a capacity of 528 kWh, which guarantee a range of up to 500 km at a constant speed. The 13-metre-long intercity bus has a limited maximum speed of 100 km/h and can carry up to 64 passengers.
