Anadolu Isuzu's electric bus exports grow exponentially

Turkey's Anadolu Isuzu continues its accomplishments in exports with its improving electric vehicle portfolio. Delivery of more than 100 fully electric NovoCiti Volt and CitiVolt series buses will be completed by the end of the year. The growth is in line with its strategy of "growth in the world", especially in Europe, as in its home market, Turkey.

Anadolu Isuzu's 100% electric are developed and manufactured in Turkey in accordance with the latest environmental regulations in the field of public transportation. The company will deliver more than 100 NovoCiti Volt and CitiVolt buses in 2023, mostly to European countries. Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan: “Today, the automotive industry is undergoing a comprehensive transformation all over the world, and as Isuzu, we focus on sustainability as the main priority in all our activities, producing zero-emission, quiet, environment-friendly models. Our electric bus export, which started with our NovoCiti Volt, which was initially delivered to France in 2021, grows with each passing quarter with the addition of the CitiVolt series."

The NovoCiti Volt is a fully electric medium size coach was awarded in the "Transportation" category at the ABC Design Award. Isuzu NovoCiti Volt has a long range of up to 400 km with its 268kWh battery. Isuzu CitiVolt is a 12-meter electric city bus and was introduced in the fall of 2022 at the Hannover IAA Transportation fair. CitiVolt provides its passengers with completely barrier-free access thanks to its low-floor platform and wide doors. CitiVolt has a high-performance electric engine, provides an enjoyable driving experience with its ergonomic driver area. The CitiVolt series, which can be charged in just three hours, provides a range of 480 km on a single charge.
