BYD is giving the new interurban BYD eBus B13.b its European debut at the UITP summit in Hamburg. The new e-bus offers according to BYD, more than 700km of range and up to 78-passenger capacity. It will be powered by BYD’s self-developed, ultra-safe Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Blade Battery technology. The BYD eBus B13.b can be fitted with a maximum battery capacity of 560 kWh.
The all-new Intercity BYD eBus B13.b is the second electric bus build on BYD's next-generation eBus platform featuring the brand’s Blade Battery Chassis. This Cell-to-Chassis technology, which is now also underpinning the new BYD eBus B13.b, integrates the BYD Blade Battery packs within the chassis, enabling them to form part
of the structure and make a low-floor access possible. The Blade Battery Chassis combined with BYD’s self-developed, ultra-efficient Silicon Carbide-based 6-in-1 controller, two powerful wheel hub hairpin motors and advanced Active Suspension Control System.
