What do you do with vehicles that no longer fit within a modern, young bus fleet? Sell it, is the answer of course. But then the question arises: how? The new auction website Fleequid is the answer. Fleequid is not only about selling and buying vehicles, but it also collects all the documents, coordinates the administrative procedures and manages payments for an easy and safe transaction. Over the last three months 700 buses found new owners. A demonstration of Fleequid can be seen in hall 11, booth 1144.
Fleequid comes from the experience of a leading company, BASCO (Italy), in the sale of used buses that has been operating for over 40 years on an international scale. Sellers and parties interested to participate in a Fleequid-auction can register themselves on www.fleequid.com/it/signup. Registered members are informed of forthcoming auctions. Sellers can set a minimum price, choose a date when to show the vehicle to potential buyers and supply all the necessary documentation to Fleequid. After a sale is done, the seller agrees the handover date with the buyer and issues the invoice to Fleequid. The buyer sends the payment to Fleequid.
The buyer is also responsible for the vehicle registration and collection of the vehicle. Fleequid support the parties in the handover phase. "Our top-notch
tech team has built a proprietary platform based on the study of the peculiarities of a niche market, such as the trading of used buses. They used open-source technologies to develop tools that make the auction process intuitive, transparent and above all functional. The architecture is headless, a crucial choice to quickly adapt to new challenges related to content and to offer a website experience suited to users’ needs", says Filippo Battaglia, who together with his brother Federico form the management board of BASCO Srl.
