During the annual meeting of the International Bus and Coach jury a new board is installed. Gianluca Ventura, editor of the Pullman magazine and the Italian representative in the International Bus & Coach Jury, is the new President of the board, Sascha Böhnke of the German magazine Omnibusrevue is the new Vice-President and Boštjan Paušer of the Slovenian magazine Transport & Logistika is the new Secretary. The annual meeting took place during the International Coach Euro Test last week in Rimini (Italy).
The international Bus and Coach jury consists of 24 European editors of trade magazines – one per country – specialized in bus and coach transport business. The jury was founded in 1989 with 12 journalists from 12 countries. By now the leading bus magazines of 24 European countries are represented in the jury. Every year the jury chooses the International Bus or Coach of the Year at the International Bus Euro or Coach Euro Test. This year the winner of the International Coach Euro Test will be revealed at the Busworld Opening Night 3 Octobre 2025. In 1989 the award was founded to show respect to the
creativity of the bus manufacturers. They produce highly sophisticated solutions for everyday’s mobility needs as well as for comfortable travelling. The awards "Bus of the Year", "Coach of the Year" and "Minibus of the Year" demonstrates the high quality of this industry. Gianluca Ventura is the successor of Tom Terjesen from Norway who was President of the jury since 2014. Sascha Böhnke is taken over the Vice-Presidency from Boštjan Paušer who has now the position as secretary from Sean Murtaugh form Ireland.
