“The prospects for Busworld 2025 are extremely positive,” says Mieke Glorieux, director of Busworld Europe. “We are counting more exhibitors, including new bus manufacturers and numerous suppliers, making Busworld Europe the benchmark for the sector.”
The 27th Busworld Europe, also the third edition to be held at Brussels Expo, is shaping up to be possibly the largest trade fair for the bus and coach sector to date. “Featuring a usable exhibition space of 85,000 m² spread across halls 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and the patio, it is the biggest show in our history,” says Mieke Glorieux.
“Did you know that in the run-up to this Busworld Europe, around 7,000 m² of floor space was cancelled, partly due to the bankruptcy of several bus manufacturers? Yet, we managed to almost completely fill that up. The only remaining free space is a small stand of 15 m², so you can safely say that the halls are fully occupied.”
“This year, we have 560 exhibitors from 40 countries. Among them are 81 bus manufacturers. We had barely heard of some of them, but they wanted to be present at Busworld Europe to showcase their vehicles that they have developed specifically for the European market. A total of 252 vehicles are on display in the halls, with another 32 parked outside. Placed one after the other, these buses would form a convoy of 5.1 kilometers.”
