Turkish bus manufacturer Karsan has signed two new contracts in Romania for the cities Chitila and Focșani for the delivery of a total of 42 10-meter e-ATA buses. The delivery of the vehicles is planned to be completed in 2026. Karsan buses are actively serving in more than 40 cities in Romania. As of today, Karsan's fleet of electric vehicles has expanded to more than 40 cities and is in active service all over Romania.
With this order for 21 10-meter e-ATA vehicles, the number of Karsan electric vehicles in Chitila will reach 44. In Focșani in the east of the country, 21 10-meter e-ATA will be put into service in 2026. Together with the previous deliveries, the total Karsan electric vehicle fleet in Focșani will increase to 47 units. The local distributor AAR (Anadolu Automobile Rom) is responsible for the order and service of the Karsan vehicles in Romania. Karsan, which is currently serving in Romania with 380 electric vehicles, continues to offer sustainable mobility throughout the country.
