Romanian Aveuro starts production of electric minibuses

Romanian Aveuro starts production of electric minibuses built on the Ford e-Transit and Mercedes-Benz e-Sprinter platforms, in various configurations and can be seen in Hall 8, booth 806. These include a 16+1 seats (M2) school transport version and a 7-meter city version (M3), both featuring wheelchair accessibility. The city of Câmpina based company was founded as a family business and began its journey in 2007. It has grown from a small regional transport and repair business into a minibus bodybuilder and electric vehicle supplier.  

 

Aveuro recently expanded its line-up to include additional models based on the Mercedes-Benz e-Sprinter platform. These include a 16+1 seats (M2) school transport version and a 7-meter city version (M3) with capacity for 15 seated passengers + 1 driver, and space for 10 standing passengers. Driving range is 350 km on a full charge, battery capacity is 81 kWh, engine power 150 kw with 400 Nm torque. Energy consumption: 27,5 - 34,2 kWh/100 km. 

 

The Aveuro e-Sprinter (M2) school minibus has 16+1 seats and has an electric front sliding door. These vehicles offer a driving range between 350 km and 500 km and come equipped with an electric door(s), electric ramp, and designated space for passengers with reduced mobility. 

 

Optional features include air conditioning, heating system, front/ rear/ side route indicators, interior/ exterior surveillance cameras, USB charging ports, and sound system.  Aveuro International is a part of Aveuro group that produces minibuses and midibuses. The factory spans 23.000 sqm outside area and 8.500 sqm inside spaces for production and offices. Today, 32% of the production is exported, with the remaining majority serving the Romanian market.
