Solaris receives order from Swedish Nobina for 103 electric buses

The Scandinavian public transport operator Nobina is once again expanding its bus fleet in Sweden with Solaris vehicles and signed a contract with Solaris for the delivery of 103 Urbino 15 LE electric buses. The zero-emission vehicles will operate routes in the regions of Stockholm, Göteborg, and Skåne. Deliveries are scheduled for 2027.

The order is divided in three separate contracts: 50 vehicles will operate in the Stockholm region, 49 will serve in the Skåne region, and 4 in the vicinity of Göteborg. The Urbino 15 LE electric buses are designed for both urban and suburban transport. Each vehicle ordered by Nobina will be equipped with Solaris High Energy batteries, ensuring a sufficient range for routes extending beyond

urban areas. Solaris has been cooperating with Nobina continuously since 2010. In recent years, the Scandinavian transport operator has been steadily expanding its zero-emission fleet in Sweden. Since 2024, Solaris has delivered a total of 201 electric buses to Nobina. In 2026 and 2027, the Polish manufacturer will deliver a total of over 320 electric vehicles to the operator.
