Turkish bus and coach manufacturer TEMSA has introduced the fully redesigned Prestij. The launch marks the first major design overhaul of the midibus since 2016. Since its debut in 1992 TEMSA has globally sold nearly 20,000 units in over 20 countries spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The new Prestij is totaly redesigned with refined front and rear masks, and modern color options like deep blue and smoky grey trims and a LED lighting system. The advanced safety systems include Advanced Emergency Braking System, Blind Spot Information System, Moving Off Information System, Intelligent Speed Assistance, Reversing Detection, Emergency Stop Signal, Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning. The driver has a digitally enhanced cockpit, featuring 29 language options. The redesigned Prestij features a 3-liter engine and can be offered with a 6+1 AMT transmission option. Inside, the passenger cabin has ergonomic seating, digital driver information
screens, and modern styling. Speaking at the launch event, TEMSA CEO Evren Güzel emphasized the strategic role Prestj plays in the company’s portfolio: “Prestij has always been more than just a vehicle for us. It’s a part of the TEMSA legacy – a pioneer that opened doors in the midibus market more than three decades ago. Today, the new Prestij stands as a flagship of our future vision, bringing modern design, efficiency, and cutting-edge safety features together.” The new Prestij will make its debut at the Busworld Europe fair in October. Following its launch at the fair, sales of the new Prestij are also scheduled to begin.
