TEKAUTO, the European importer of JAC Motors and ANKAI buses, officially launches its new European electric bus brand, Urbaneo BUS. The debut will take place at Busworld Brussels in Hall 9 – Stand 952, where we will present the first two models in the range: the Urbaneo CITY 6, a compact 6-meter electric bus, and the Urbaneo VISTA DD12 – a 12-meter electric double-decker, which is already successfully operating in Paris.
Under the motto "Moving Cities Forward," Urbaneo BUS states to be committed to providing 100% electric, reliable solutions tailored to European cities and operators. The Urbaneo CITY 6 has a capacity of 22 passengers. It features a 127 kWh battery and a range of up to
250 km in both summer and winter conditions, according to the manufacturer. Charging options include up to 22 kW AC and 120 kW DC. The driver has an ISRI driver's seat and a modern, ergonomic dashboard. Passengers sit on STER seats on a Gerflor floor. The Urbaneo CITY 6 complies with the GSR2 safety regulations.
The Urbaneo VISTA DD12 is an electric sightseeing bus, already successfully operating in Paris, New York, Dubai, and London. It has a range of up to 300 km. Operators can choose between an open-top configuration or a closed-top version. The product family will soon be expanded and will initially be available in France, the Benelux countries, Germany, and Italy. Other products to be added are Urbaneo CITY — Electric city buses for urban transport networks; Urbaneo TOUR — Intercity and regional electric buses; Urbaneo VISTA — Specialized buses for tourism; and Urbaneo MOVE — Service Solutions, including full maintenance contracts, charging infrastructure, and fleet management support.
