Voith Turbo becomes Driventic

In hall 5, Stand 517, you will find a new company that has built up a reputation over the years: Voith Turbo. From 1 November, it will be known by its new name, Driventic.

Driventic is positioning itself worldwide as a specialist for efficient drive technologies in the commercial vehicle industry and a driver of the mobility transition. Under the brand claim ‘Mobility beyond today’, the company will give a first glimpse of its new identity at Busworld Europe 2025.

Driventic is based in Heidenheim, Germany, and is a spin-off of parts of the drive systems division of international technology group Voith. The company will operate on the market as a legally, organisationally and operationally independent company. "Busworld Europe is our most important trade fair dedicated to the commercial vehicle industry. We are therefore especially pleased to be able to present Driventic here for the first time under the new brand name and offer customers, partners and suppliers an initial impression of our future identity," says Dr. Gregor Wiche, CEO Commercial Vehicles (soon to be Driventic).

"With a future-driven and customer-focused product portfolio for trucks, buses and off-highway applications, Driventic aims to significantly advance the transformation of mobility. The 1,400 employees at 27 locations in 19 countries are joining forces with the experienced management team to pursue an ambitious goal: mobility that leaves no trace – except progress." The product range comprises integrated systems and digital services. All solutions are "technological refinements and advancements" of Voith products. This includes the VEDS and VEDS 1.5 electric drive systems, DIWA and DIWA NXT automatic transmissions, retarders and air compressors, the TurboCompound transmission solution and Hydrodamp vibration damper.
