The system offers predictive life cycle monitoring of brake shoes and tires, while enabling remote, batch vehicle control such as temperature regulation and location-based charging. With after-sales services including diagnostics, repairs, parts management, and training, plus the AI-powered Vela assistant for instant usage and maintenance support, Link+ ensures efficiency and reliability across the entire fleet lifecycle.
Finalists 2025
Category: Digital Onboard Comfort
Powerdrive Cortex
The concept solution “PowerDrive Cortex” is a fully integrated digital cockpit for city buses, bringing together all dashboard functions within a single High Performance Computer (HPC) that ensures centralization and high performance. Unlike traditional architectures that use multiple separate control units, our HPC manages all systems in one centralized and interconnected platform.
BatOnRoute - School and Staff Transport App
BatOnRoute offers real-time information for the travellers, drivers and coach operators. It enhances the security by giving all the necessary information to the travellers/ parents in school transportation: bus proximity to the bus stop, any possible delays, the confirmation that the child got on/ off the bus. BatOnRoute also helps the coach operators - the users can place an absence through their own app or even change the route only if there is a free place available on the alternative bus - this significantly cuts down on the admin tasks.

Secure Central Gateway
The secure central gateway (CGW) by Bosch functions as a gatekeeper for commercial vehicles, managing and controlling communication between various vehicle domains and external entities. By acting as a robust barrier against external threats, the CGW secures the vehicle's architecture, ensuring that only authorized data flows in and out. This innovative solution not only enhances vehicle security but also facilitates efficient data handling and supports data forensics with the integrated Intrusion Detection System (IDS).

Bus Connect
ZF Bus Connect is a telematics solution designed specifically for buses, now enhanced with a powerful new feature: CAN Tunnel. It enables workshop-level diagnostics to be performed remotely – a first in telematics space, connecting the workshop with the fleet in the field. This allows operators to detect, diagnose, and respond to technical issues in real time, without taking vehicles to a workshop. By combining deep vehicle insight with remote access, it transforms maintenance workflows, reduces downtime, and increases fleet availability.
Category: Digitally Enhanced Driving
MirrorCam
The system uses 7" or 15" high-resolution monitors to display extended fields of vision, with brightness automatically adjusted by integrated photodiodes. The 15" versions feature guide lines and an overtaking assistant overlay to support safe driving, while Blind Spot Assist is also built into the monitor. Heated, aerodynamically designed cameras reduce fuel consumption, protect lenses from weather, and maintain clear visibility. The modern design integrates seamlessly into the vehicle, enhancing both safety and efficiency. By eliminating the blind spot, the system helps drivers better detect pedestrians, cyclists, and nearby road users.
Knorr-Bremse Fusion 3.0 Pedestrian Advanced Emergency Braking Function
The Pedestrian Advanced Emergency Braking (PAEB) function from Knorr-Bremse is a driver assistance safety feature offering state of the art collision mitigation targeting vulnerable road users like pedestrians and cyclists. This functionality was put into series production in 2024 and offers best-in-class performance for commercial vehicles. The system utilizes advanced software to detect vulnerable road users using sensor data that was previously only able to detect larger objects like vehicles.
